Dr. Christine Godin

Christine Godin is a public health physician who has dedicated much of her career to humanitarian work, serving with organizations such as Médecins du Monde (MDM) and Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in various countries. Deeply committed to blindness prevention, she has held key positions, including serving as the Carter Center Foundation’s representative in the fight against onchocerciasis in Central Africa, based in Cameroon. She was also Deputy Director of Programs at the Organization for the Prevention of Blindness (OPC) and served as a technical expert for the WHO as part of the APOC program. Today, she continues her public health mission with the Regional Health Agency in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, following a role at the French Ministry of Health in Paris.
