Astigmatism is caused by an irregularly curved cornea. 

Symptoms of Astigmatism

A common symptom of astigmatism is blurry vision. Symptoms also include eye fatigue, headaches and distorted peripheral vision.

Diagnosis of Astigmatism

Astigmatism is diagnosed with a comprehensive eye exam, including a refraction assessment and an eye health exam. 

Treatment of Astigmatism

Astigmatism is corrected by glasses, contact lenses or laser surgery.
