The Gouault-Wendling Foundation helps people with injuries and disabilities, with a special interest in people who are poor or excluded because they are disabled. The Organization for the Prevention of Blindness (OPC) and the Gouault-Wendling Foundation have been partners since 2011. Together, they have contributed to the training of future ophthalmologists and the promotion of eye care by allowing 4th year students of the Institute of Tropical Ophthalmology of Africa (IOTA) to do their internship in rural areas lacking quality eye care.
